WCJC offers a wide range of tests and assessments designed to help you achieve your academic, personal, and vocational goals. Conveniently located at our Wharton, Richmond, and Sugar Land campuses, our staff is committed to providing a professional and supportive testing environment for you.

TSI Testing

Entering college students must be assessed for college readiness in Reading, Mathematics, and Writing. TSI scores help to determine your readiness to enroll in certain college-level coursework.

Placement Tests

Placement tests are designed to assess your current knowledge and skills in key subject areas. These tests help us place you in the appropriate courses to ensure your academic success. Learn more about the GED, CLEP, and more.

Accommodated Testing

We provide proctoring services for WCJC students who require ADA accommodations that cannot be fulfilled in the classroom. This service is free of charge for WCJC students.

Professional Tests

Professional tests, including the TCFP and TCEQ, are available at select locations. Contact us to schedule a professional test.

Testing at WCJC

The WCJC Testing Center provides services to prospective and current WCJC students, as well as community members. Contact us to schedule your exam.

Appointment Guidelines

Appointments are required and should be made at least two business days in advance. Spaces may fill quickly during peak times.

• Arrive on time for your appointment.
• Late arrivals may be turned away.
• Payment must be made on the day of your scheduled appointment prior to taking your test.
• Same-day appointments and walk-ins are not available.
• All testers must show a valid, physical photo ID at the time of their appointment.

Testing Center Rules

All testers must adhere to the following rules when taking a test.

• All personal items must be stored before entering the testing room. Leave as many personal items as possible at home or locked securely in a vehicle.
• Cell phones must be powered off before storage.
• Food, drinks, and tobacco products are prohibited in the testing room.
• Children are not permitted in the testing room and should not be left unsupervised on campus.
• Testing Center activities are camera monitored. Misconduct may result in exam invalidation.
• All testers should review the complete set of Testing Center Guidelines prior to their appointment. All guidelines will be strictly enforced.

Our WCJC Testing Centers are situated on the Wharton, Richmond, and Sugar Land campuses, each operating on individual schedules. You must have an appointment to take an exam. Appointments must be made at least two business days prior to the exam. Walk-ins are not allowed. Call or email us to schedule your exam.
